The MSc in Management is a full-time program, and it is not designed to accommodate full-time work alongside your studies.

No, the MSc in Management is an in-person program delivered on campus in Ottawa and is not available in a hybrid or online format.

Studying in Ottawa means learning at multicultural capital-city environment, networking and co‑op opportunities with employers in the region, and a close‑knit faculty community that offers smaller classes and extensive academic support.

Cohorts typically include a mix of domestic and international students from a wide range of undergraduate backgrounds (including, but not limited to, management, engineering, social sciences, health sciences, law, and the arts). Since no work experience is required, many students apply directly after completing their four-year undergraduate degree.

Students in the Telfer MSc in Management program can expect a variety of practical learning experiences. The curriculum includes hands-on opportunities and experiential learning activities that strengthen problem-solving and research skills. You’ll also engage with experts from academia, industry, and government through our research seminar series and conferences. In addition, you can participate in thesis competitions and apply for paid teaching or research assistant positions to further develop your teaching and research experience. These opportunities help you build on your undergraduate foundation and prepare for advanced studies or a professional management career.

Support services include academic advising, wellness services, the Management Library and the Telfer Research Office.
