As director of the Telfer Master of Health Administration (MHA) program, I’m continually inspired by the dedication and vision of health-care leaders. They work tirelessly to improve patient outcomes and advance public health in Canada. These remarkable people need to constantly reinvent themselves and learn about new advancements, particularly in the realms of technology and personalized medicine.

Our MHA program is designed to assist health system professionals, current leaders and emerging leaders in adopting a mindset of lifelong learning and adaptability. It’s uniquely positioned as the only MHA program in Canada within a school of management. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with robust health-care knowledge and skills in reflective management, organizational analytics and system-level thinking. This foundation is essential to ensure graduates are prepared to navigate the evolving health-care landscape, lead future transformations and maintain a human-centred approach to health-care management.

My vision for our students extends beyond traditional academic achievement. I’m committed to empowering them with the skills and confidence they need to become effective, transformative and responsible leaders in health care.
