Management
The Management option balances practical and analytical skill development to improve your decision-making processes. It seeks to deepen and broaden your understanding of how to generate and implement organizational strategies. The option emphasizes the need to manage continuous performance improvement, the need to manage the organization’s relationship to its environment, and the need to develop your understanding of historical management practice and of current trends in management. This BCom option seeks to provide you with managerial skills that are cross-functional and applicable in many different organizational contexts.
The Honours BCom (option in Management) is available in CO-OP and French immersion.

Experiential Learning
Enactus uOttawa is an international non-profit organization and student organization at Telfer that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. Choosing to participate in Enactus will further develop management skills, knowledge of corporate social responsibilities, and community engagement. Also part of Enactus is the Legacy Conference, the largest student-run conference in Canada.
Additionally, you may participate in a range of case competitions and course-based simulations such as Jeux du Commerce (JDC) or JDC Central (JDCC), national student-led case competitions.
