The opportunity
Earn two business degrees in four years while building your international profile from the start of your Telfer journey. Through Telfer’s double-degree programs in France, you’ll spend your first two years in Ottawa, complete your third year at one of our prestigious partner schools — EDHEC Business School, KEDGE Business School or TBS Education — and return to Telfer for your final year.
Offered in English, French or English with French immersion, this exciting program lets you gain valuable cross-cultural experience. You’ll also get work experience in a foreign country through a compulsory internship and graduate with credentials from both uOttawa and a leading French business school. Courses at the partner institutions are offered in English, even though the schools are located in France, so knowledge of English is compulsory for all students.

FAQs
These degrees are offered in English, French or English with French immersion. However, the partner schools in France don’t offer courses in French. If you’re admitted to the program in French, you’ll need to submit an English proficiency test in second year (IELTS, Duolingo or TOEFL).
You can’t add a microprogram, a minor or a second BCom option to the double degree.
You can’t do an additional exchange term abroad while in the double degree.
Yes, you can be in the French immersion stream.
You can’t do co-op in the double degree. However, a requirement from our partner institutions is to do one term-long internship in the country of your choice, so work experience is built into the structure of the double degree.
No, you can’t do the specialization in accounting during the double degree. It’s not feasible to do all the accounting courses over only two terms in fourth year.
Yes, you can take any option in the BCom program during the double degree. But if you want to do the program at EDHEC, you need to be in marketing or finance. KEDGE and TBS Education accept students from other options.
No, you can’t do the BCom/MSc and the double degree at the same time.
No, You can’t do the BCom/JD or BCom/LLL and the double degree at the same time.
