At the Telfer Student Services Centre (SSC), we support and guide you throughout your studies, from admissions until graduation. Our Career Centre is also available to you throughout their studies and after graduation. Meet the SSC team.
Please note that during the Fall 2024 term, our advisors meet with students during walk-in sessions on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to speak to an academic officer who will be able to confirm the walk-in times and/or put you on the walk-in list to see an academic advisor.
To speak to an academic officer in person or remotely, add yourself to our queue. Please note that, during peak periods, we might close the queue as needed during our office hours in order to serve all people currently waiting. If the queue is closed, please send your request by email to
- Our in-person service remains available, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at DMS 1100.
- Our virtual service remains available, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to noon and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
- Chat: Send us a message anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.
- The Undergraduate Office will be closed on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.

Mental Health Support
We know that as a student, striking a balance between a healthy lifestyle and academic commitments can be quite challenging. At Telfer, we recognize that developing the tools to manage your own mental and emotional well-being is just as important as equipping yourselves with the necessary skills to thrive academically and professionally.
Asma Nsiri is the dedicated Telfer mental health and wellness counsellor. She works with both graduate and undergraduate students in our faculty. Her role is to support your growth and thriving in your personal life, your academic journey, and beyond.
