Sheldon is responsible for the development and delivery of the CPA graduate program at Telfer. His long-standing involvement with accounting includes serving as a seminar leader for both the former ICAO School of Accountancy and the current CPA Canada Professional Education Program delivered through CPA Ontario. His contributions to curriculum development extend nationally. He has designed courses for the Royal Military College’s Accounting PEP Program in Audit, developed professional development courses for Densmore Consulting and supported CPA education across multiple institutions.
Before entering academia full time, Sheldon enjoyed a distinguished 36-year professional career: seven years in public accounting, followed by 27 years with a federal Crown financial institution as a risk management specialist, culminating in his role as chief audit executive for a publicly-traded high tech company.
Throughout his career, Sheldon has been recognized for his leadership, technical expertise and unwavering commitment to advancing the accounting profession through education, mentorship and community engagement.
