Accounting Professor Receives CMA Grant

Ron Eden, Associate Professor at the Telfer School of Management, received a $20,000 grant from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario (CMA Ontario) for his research project entitled “Investigation of the Use of Management Accounting Information in Canadian Companies”.

Recent evidence suggests that the level of implementation of innovative accounting is low in Canada. This research seeks to establish baselines to examine the implementation of various aspects of both traditional and innovative accounting practices in Canadian organizations.
