Biography

Professor Nedzela is the Director of Accreditations at the Telfer School of Management. He managed the process that led to the School's three international accreditations (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA). He was coordinator of the Management Section between 1994 and 1997. He served as Vice-Dean from 1985 to 1988. He was Assistant Dean, Undergraduate Programs from 1979 to 1982. Professor Nedzela was Director of the International MBA Program from 1991 to 1992 and was also responsible for the International Exchange Programs of the Faculty between 1979 and 1992. He has conducted CIDA-financed cooperation projects between the School, the Université de Tunis, and other institutions in Romania, Algeria and Morocco. He is the Director of the Romanian-Canadian MBA in Bucharest. In 1978, he received the University of Ottawa Award for Excellence in Teaching.

He has published two books entitled Modèles probabilistes d'aide à la décision, (1987) and Introduction à la science de la gestion, (1983). He has also published articles in INFOR, Prospective and Curator. In 1983, he placed second in the Practice of Operational Research Competition organized by the Canadian Operational Research Society for his paper entitled A Synthesis Algorithm for Broadcasting Satellite Service (with Professor J. Sidney). His research interests include the modelling of political decisions and socioeconomic processes.
