Biography
Research interests across a wide range of topics generally involve the effective use of computational resources and the management of human interaction with computers. Applications have been mostly in statistics, optimization and information management, but Professor Nash has published papers in areas as diverse as biochemistry and agricultural economics. He is active in several areas of open source software, including the TellTable and Etutor projects.
An active author, Professor Nash has also been a columnist for Interface Age, scientific computing editor for Byte, and occasional contributor to PC Magazine. He has been editor and managing editor of the bilingual membership journal SSC Liaison for the Statistical Society of Canada and an associate editor of The American Statistician.
