Elizabeth Tanguay is the Executive Director of the Archipel Ontario Health Team (OHT), where she has led significant initiatives since its formation. With over 25 years of experience in both private and public healthcare sectors, Elizabeth is a dynamic leader known for her strategic expertise in communications, marketing, business development, and team management. She has a proven track record of driving organizational growth, including the successful expansion of the Ottawa East OHT, which led to the creation of Archipel in 2023.
Elizabeth’s leadership is rooted in inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation. Known for her strategic vision and compassionate guidance, she is dedicated to advancing a more equitable, sustainable, and efficient healthcare system. Fluent in both French and English, Elizabeth is highly respected for her ability to inspire and engage stakeholders, consistently delivering impactful results in complex healthcare environments. Her leadership has been recognized with several accolades, including the Robert Wood Johnson Award, the MHA Alumni Association Health Leadership Award, and the 2023 Public Sector Leader Award by the Regroupement des gens d'affaires de la capitale nationale.
Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration (MHA) from the University of Ottawa and a Certificate in Health Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
