Biography

Professor Hyde teaches in the Telfer School's BCom and Executive MBA programs in the areas of International Business, General Management, Strategy, and Management Consulting. She has also taught in the Telfer MBA.

Dr. Hyde holds an Honors BA in Business Administration (HBA) and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario, and a PhD in Management from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France) - recognized recently by Business Week magazine as the leading global business school - with a specialization in corporate strategy and strategic and organizational change in multinational diversified firms.

Prior to joining the Telfer School of Management in 2002, Dr. Hyde was a faculty member at Babson College (Wellesley, Massachusetts), a world leader in entrepreneurial education; and at the Ivey School of Business Administration, where she won a Dean's Teaching Award in both years.

Professor Hyde has authored or co-authored more than 20 teaching case studies (at Ivey, IMD, and INSEAD), several of which are worldwide bestsellers and have won international prizes. She serves on the US Board of Directors of The Case Centre, an 800+ member organization including all leading global business schools, whose mission is to promote the case method in management education.

Over the past 25 years Professor Hyde has worked as a consultant and researcher with a variety of multinational organisations in many countries in Europe as well as in the US and Canada, and has worked and studied in more than 20 countries around the world.
