Biography

Christopher Belanger is an adjunct professor at the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on worker and retiree well-being, and on the geography of equitable health-care access, especially for older Ontarians and French-speakers. He’s also an affiliated researcher with the LIFE Research Institute and the Réseau FORCES-Santé (Francophonie — Observatoire de recherche collaborative et d’études sur la santé et les services en contexte minoritaire).

Belanger holds a PhD in the philosophy of modern physics (2015) and a BSc in physics (2007), both from the University of Toronto, as well as an MBA from the uOttawa Telfer School of Management (2021). He completed an affiliated postdoctoral fellowship with uOttawa and the Institut du Savoir Montfort.
