Tuition for the Executive MHA program is CAN$51,000.
Tuition doesn’t include added travel and accommodation-related expenses for the mandatory capstone week in Ottawa.
Note: This program is not eligible for provincial student loans through OSAP.

Create a Lifelong Learning Plan

Telfer EMHA Diversity and Equity Scholarship
Award value: $51,000
You must be admitted into the Executive MHA program at the Telfer School of Management and a member of a racialized or Indigenous community. You must also be a Canadan citizen or permanent resident who has demonstrated involvement in the community.
This scholarship was created by the Telfer School of Management to support a student admitted into the Executive MHA program at the Telfer School of Management of the University of Ottawa who is a member of a racialized community or Indigenous community.
Eligibility
You must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.
- Be admitted as a full-time student to the Executive MHA program at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
- Demonstrate involvement in your community,
- Be a racialized person (member of a visible minority) and defined as a person other than Indigenous (Aboriginal), who is non-white in colour or race, regardless of place of birth or citizenship. or Provide documented proof of Indigenous identity, in accordance with the requirements of the University of Ottawa Eligibility for Focused Admissions, Scholarships, and Bursaries for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis People administrative procedure.
Application procedure
Applicants are considered when they are admitted to the program and are chosen by the Telfer School of Management. You must submit your self-identification or documentation during the admission process. This includes the following:
- Self-identification if you identify as a member of a racialized community as per the Ontario Human Rights Commission policy and guidelines on racism and racial discrimination section 2.1 (“‘Race’ — A social construct”) or Documented proof of your Indigenous identity, in accordance with the requirements of the University of Ottawa Eligibility for Focused Admissions, Scholarships, and Bursaries for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis People administrative procedure
- A letter (max. 500 words) describing your involvement in your community
This scholarship is renewable for up to six instalments, one per term. You must be enrolled as a full-time student in the program.
The Ottawa Hospital Telfer EMHA Scholarship

You must be admitted to the Executive MHA program at the Telfer School of Management and working in the healthcare sector in the National Capital Region (Ontario only). You must also be a Canadan citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected or refugee status, or an international student.
Eligibility
You must:
- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected or refugee status, or an international student.
- Be admitted as a full-time student to the Executive MHA program at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
- Be working in the healthcare sector in the National Capital Region (Ontario only).
Application procedure
No application is required. The scholarship will be automatically awarded to a student admitted to the program and chosen by a selection committee at the Telfer School of Management.
