Undergraduate Microprograms

What is a microprogram?

A microprogram is a short, focused program that combines select courses with exclusive hands-on learning opportunities to increase your knowledge in a specific area of business. It uses courses typically reserved for out-of-faculty students and/or free electives to complete the program. You must choose one of five business topics.

The number of courses required to complete a microprogram ranges between four and seven. These courses are taken throughout your time in the BCom program. Enrolment in a microprogram might require you to attend events outside of class time.

Benefits

You have access to exclusive networking events and trips, mentorship sessions with professionals in your field of interest and experiential learning opportunities like workshops, labs, internships and case simulations.

If you’re currently enrolled in the Honours BCom program, you can combine one business option with a microprogram.
