You will send a proposal to the faculty to have these hours recognized as part of your microprogram. The proposal will need to explain which competencies you will develop or apply in your activities (linked with Telfer and UOttawa competency development outcomes), how you will develop or apply them, and how this will be measured. Additionally, there will need to be clear indication of how the activity sufficiently engages experiential learning/work integrated learning. Recognized activities would be:

  • Gee-Gees varsity and club teams (overseen by Coach or University staff member)
  • E-hub activities (overseen by Manager of E-hub or their representative)
  • Participating in an international experience (without credits)
  • Microprogram Capital Markets extra-curricular activities related to the management of the Telfer Capital Fund
