Who Am I: Self-assessment and Career Testing*
Previously known as Self-Understanding, Career Planning and Testing
You can participate in a Self-assessment and Career Testing workshop or meet with a career counsellor individually to explore your interests and identify your personality type using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory (Strong).

Rock Your Resumé*
As resumés and cover letters are usually the first point of contact that employers have with potential candidates, using well-written and professional correspondence is essential in making a positive first impression. This workshop is designed to help you create a marketing package that will get you noticed. This session covers everything from assessing your skills and experiences to personalizing your resumé and cover letter.

This workshop will teach you how to build and maintain professional relationships and assist you in articulating what you have gained from your university experience.
Intro to LinkedIn
LinkedIn is a powerful tool used to promote your interests, demonstrate your achievements, and connect you with your professional network.
This session offers you the chance to learn how to create and develop your LinkedIn profile, build your network and use this job search tool effectively.

This series of small group clinics are facilitated by our Career Counsellor or Relationship Manager and are complementary to the workshops and special activities facilitated by employers. They will touch on the key elements associated with each subject.

This session will provide you with the opportunity to assess your skills and experiences, learn about different resumé formats, participate in practical exercises, and get tips on how to tailor your resumé and cover letter.
Let’s Talk Interviews
Previously known as Interview 101
This session will provide you with the opportunity to discuss typical interview questions and formats, enhance skills through practice exercises, develop effective preparation strategy, and address specific concerns with a counsellor.
Let’s Talk Networking
Previously known as Networking 101
This interactive session will provide you with valuable insight on how to network in any setting. You will learn ways to make the most of your time as well as the right connections for your career. This networking clinic gives practical tips about how to tap into the power of networking in a way that makes you feel good about it. The session will cover topics such as first impressions, professional deportment, and representing yourself well (i.e. personal branding).
