This workshop includes a student team-based competition with a cash prize and a matching donation to a charity.
As part of SDG Month Canada, this creative maker workshop invites students to explore circular design, waste reduction, and sustainable craftsmanship through hands-on learning.
Using reclaimed and upcycled materials, participants will design and build their own birdhouses while learning how creativity and practical skills can support more sustainable lifestyles.
This session is led by the Upcycling Club and encourages experimentation, collaboration, and problem-solving in a supportive, inclusive environment.
No prior experience is required, just bring your curiosity and get building.
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a friendly team-based challenge with a 200$ cash prize and a matching donation to a charity.
This activity is ideal for students interested in sustainability, design, environmental action, creativity, and community engagement.
