This is a student team-based competition with a cash prize and a matching donation to a charity.
As part of SDG Month Canada, this prefigurative workshop led by Professor Mathieu Bouchard invites students to explore how local action can contribute to global sustainability goals particularly around climate action, sustainable cities, and responsible mobility.
Focusing on cycling as a tool for social and environmental change, this challenge will ask participants to imagine and design more sustainable transportation futures. Together, students will examine how everyday choices, collective organizing, and policy advocacy can drive meaningful impact.
Through hands-on teamwork and creative problem-solving, participants will develop practical solutions and compete for a 200$ cash prize. An equivalent amount will be donated in the winning team’s name to a charitable organization!
This session is designed for students who care about climate justice, community well-being, building a more equitable and sustainable future and who want to turn their values into action.
Competition details:
• Teams of up to 5 members
• One winning team will receive a 200 $ cash prize
