In honour of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026 and its’ theme, “Give to Gain”, Telfer Executive Programs is pleased to invite you to ASCEND: a workshop dedicated to supporting women working in complex operational environments.

Women working in fields including national security, defence, intelligence, law enforcement, cyber security, and public safety regularly face substantial challenges—including unconscious bias, limited advancement opportunities, and difficulties in having their voices heard. These obstacles can restrict professional development and prevent women from achieving their full potential, particularly in fields in which women are underrepresented.

ASCEND will consist of presentations and interactive discussions with renowned women senior leaders and experts, exploring challenges unique to women’s professional experiences in these specialized fields. Our speakers will offer unique perspectives and guidance for navigating common workplace issues, examine gender differences and power dynamics, and discuss essential personal strength and resilience strategies.

By empowering and encouraging women to succeed, we help ensure that their voices are heard and respected, that their important contributions are valued and recognized, and their own personal goals are achieved.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This workshop session has been tailored to support women working in security, defence, intelligence, law enforcement, public safety, and cyber sectors.  All genders and identities are welcome.
