We’re pleased to invite you to the second annual Telfer Health System Conversation, taking place on Thursday, November 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at uOttawa’s Telfer School of Management.

This year’s event will explore how leaders across sectors can collaborate to strengthen primary care and build a more resilient, inclusive and human-scale health system. Attendees will gain:

  • insights into the evolving role of accessible, team-based primary care
  • practical strategies from local health leaders to align care with community needs
  • opportunities to connect and exchange ideas with peers across health-care sectors

The evening will feature:

  • a framing segment on the urgency of Ontario’s primary care reform
  • key insights from Professor Agnes Grudniewicz on the strategic evolution of primary care
  • a dynamic, interactive panel of local health leaders sharing real-world approaches

Panellists will include:

  • Dr Trevor Arnason, Medical Officer of Health for the City of Ottawa (Public Health)
  • Dr Claire Kendall, Family physician, Bruyère Health Academic Family Medicine
  • Hoda Mankal, NP and Executive Director, Ottawa’s first NPLC
  • Ashraf Yacoub, RPh, Community Pharmacist, Pharmacy Owner

Conclude the evening with networking, reflection and actionable ideas you can bring back to your work and community.
