Michael Barnett, PhD

The business case for corporate social and environmental responsibility is well established. So if it pays to be good, then why do we still see so much bad? In this seminar, I draw from a series of publications to outline the logic and mechanisms of the business case, identify its limits, and propose new ways to better sort out the potential for firms to be become more socially and environmentally responsible, in ways that are more likely to sustain society and the planet.
