Quantitative Course Support Hub

The Telfer School of Management has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Program that ensures students undertake a number of qualitative and quantitative courses during their academic journey. Both are often supported by discussion groups and Teaching Assistants (TAs). In particular, there are a number of quantitative courses in first and second year that offer supplementary support in the form of Discussion Groups.

That said, the Telfer School of Management recognizes there are acute times during the semester that BCom students may need additional support in their quantitative courses. Thus, over and above the support students already receive in many of their quantitative courses, Telfer is leading the way to provide additional support to students in these acute times.

This is where the Quantitative Course Support Hub come in. This Hub is led by experienced course Teaching Assistants in collaboration with support from course Professors. The experienced TAs actively support students with one-on-one sessions around the timing of mid-terms (or on particular quizzes) and final exams. Again, this is where students find themselves needing the most support. The Hub also provides review sessions during these mid-terms and final exam periods.
