Prize
One prize is available: a two‑night stay at Le Westin Tremblant.
The prize has been generously donated by Le Westin Tremblant. The winner will be notified at the email address provided in the contest entry. The prize must be accepted as awarded or forfeited and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit. Additional terms and conditions from Westin may apply. The prize must be claimed by April 30, 2027.
Anyone wishing to enter the contest must meet the eligibility requirements. The contest begins on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. (EDT) and ends on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).
Entrants must follow the contest rules, failing which the contest organizers reserve the right to cancel their entry. These rules include the following:
- Only one entry is allowed per person.
- Use of automated registrations is strictly forbidden.
Should entrants violate these rules, their entries will be rejected, and they will be automatically disqualified from the contest.
Entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood the contest rules.
Contest rules
Eligibility:
No purchase is necessary. This contest is organized by the Telfer School of Management and is open to all Telfer students (undergraduate and graduate programs) graduating in spring 2026 who submitted the entry form during the contest period. Anyone who is (or lives with) an employee of the University of Ottawa cannot enter the contest.
Selection of winners:
The winner will be chosen at random among all entrants on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 10 a.m. The winner will be informed by email provided in the entry form following the draw. To win, they must have filled out the contest entry form, providing all information requested. If it is impossible to contact the winner within the two (2) days following the draw, a second draw will take place, and so on, until the prize is awarded. The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Protection of personal information:
In accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), any personal information that the University of Ottawa collects, including through a contest, will be handled in a confidential manner by authorized staff for the purpose for which it was collected. The University of Ottawa will collect and maintain the information provided by entrants in order to manage its relationships with alumni, including sending messages regarding University news, invitations, fundraising, and special offers available to alumni and friends of the University. The University will not disclose personal information to third parties, except as required by law or a court, or when having a third party perform services, in which case confidentiality clauses will ensure protection of personal information. By entering this contest, entrants agree to such use of their personal information.
General conditions:
This contest is subject to applicable Canadian laws. For Quebec residents, any dispute concerning the conduct or organization of this contest can be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize can also be submitted to the Régie, but the latter will only help the parties reach a settlement.
The University is not responsible for any and all liability arising from participants' participation in the contest or from the acceptance of any prize. Winners must sign a declaration acknowledging receipt of the prize and releasing the University of Ottawa from any and all liability arising from participation in the contest or from acceptance of the prize. The University reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify the contest rules if fraud or technical failure threatens to destroy the integrity of the contest.
