Microprogram Business and Sports Analytics
The program
The Microprogram Business and Sports Analytics allows you to pursue a career in business analytics with a focus on the sports industry. Expand your knowledge of sports, recreation, analytics, health and wellness, event management, and marketing to prepare for careers in sports marketing, sports analytics, and athletic performance analysis.
Explore how business and sports analytics intersect to transform data into evidence-based action and to inform decision-making. The Microprogram Business and Sports Analytics is an interdisciplinary program offered by the Telfer School of Management and the Faculty of Health Sciences. The microprogram is available to Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) students and non-degree students and is delivered in both official languages.
Courses
The Microprogram Business and Sports Analytics consists of four business three human kinetics courses, for a total of 21 units (7 courses). Course scheduling may be subject to change. Please refer to the anticipated ADM course offerings page to plan your schedule.

You will use your ADM elective courses to complete the ADM courses and your out-of-faculty electives to complete the APA courses in the microprogram. For example, if you are enrolled in the Business Technology Management option, you would complete three ADM courses in the microprogram as part of your ADM electives.
Admission
Enrol as a BCom Student
If you are a BCom student, you will need to request a program change from the Telfer Undergraduate Office to add the Microprogram in Business and Sports Analytics to your degree. It is best to request this change during your first or second year of studies. Program request changes can be made each year between March 1 and June 1.

Enrol as a Non-Degree Student
If you are a non-degree student, you need to meet the following criteria to be eligible to enrol in this microprogram:

Demonstrate relevant professional experience, including knowledge of mathematics, marketing, and statistics.
