  • Inform employees, guests, and program participants about Telfer Executive Programs’ expectations on the standards for responsible conduct, and,
  • Ensure that Telfer Executive Programs can effectively intervene and protect individuals impacted by those who breach the Code of Conduct.

Respects the rights of every visitor

Telfer Executive Programs respects the rights of every visitor, participant, employee, facilitator, coach, and Program Director to be part of a safe, professional, and effective learning and work environment, free from discrimination or harassment.

Neither Telfer Executive Programs nor the University of Ottawa will tolerate discrimination or harassment based on race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, creed, national or ethnic origin, citizenship status, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. The University strongly encourages those who have experienced, witnessed, or become aware of such conduct, to report it to an appropriate resource. Discrimination or harassment that occurs within the context of Telfer Executive Programs (whether an in-person or virtual interaction) should be reported to a Program Director, facilitator, or employee.

Participants of our programs are expected to adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and overall ethical conduct and to foster an environment of inclusion, respect, and trust. All participants are to treat Telfer employees, facilitators, coaches, Program Directors, fellow participants, and all visitors with dignity, courtesy, and respect in all interactions. Telfer Executive Programs has a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or disruptive behaviour toward employees, facilitators, coaches, Program Directors, fellow participants, and/or visitors.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and adherence to this policy and your contribution to making Telfer Executive Programs a safe space to learn, work, and develop as a leader. Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from any Telfer Executive Program, now and in the future.
