About the speaker:

Hugh Gorman

With over 30 years in the industry, Hugh Gorman has dealt in every aspect of the real estate lifecycle, from investment and development to management and leasing. Under his direction, Colonnade BridgePort has evolved into Ottawa’s largest privately-owned real estate services company now overseeing more than 15 million square feet across Ottawa, the GTA and Southern Ontario, and Atlantic Canada. The firm also currently has three multi-residential projects under construction in Ottawa with a development pipeline of $2B and is actively fundraising for two new real estate funds – one focused on new development in Ottawa, and one focused on value add properties in secondary markets. 

An award-winning contributor to the Canadian real estate and business communities, Hugh is currently the incoming Chair of the Ottawa Board of Trade, the co-chair of the Ottawa Downtown Champions table, and is a key contributor to building a stronger, more resilient downtown core. Hugh previously served as president of both BOMA Ottawa and BOMA Canada, and spent two years on the BOMA International Executive Committee.
