 Join us for a breakfast discussion with Andrew Waitman, recently named  2024 Ottawa Business Journal and Ottawa Board of Trade CEO of the Year. As CEO of Assent, Andrew plays a critical role in transforming the way companies manage compliance processes in supply chain management.

Andrew Waitman is an accomplished leader and visionary entrepreneur who has driven remarkable growth as CEO of Assent. A recipient of the prestigious Order of Ottawa, Andrew has played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the compliance and supply chain data management space. Under his leadership, Assent has grown exponentially, from a company with less than US$1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) to over US$100 million in ARR, a testament to his strategic navigation skills while building a purposeful, motivated culture of success at Assent.

About Assent

Stéphane Brutus received his PhD in industrial-organizational psychology from Bowling Green State University. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) in Greensboro, North Carolina. At Concordia University, Dr. Brutus served as dean (interim), associate dean graduate professional programs and chair of the management department. He was also director of the Bell Research Centre for Business Process Innovation.

With over 10 years’ experience in executive search and recruitment, Leslie manages an extensive client base in both official languages in the public and not-for-profit sectors. She has significant experience in the Canadian market, having recruited for higher education, health care, foundations and associations, as well as government agencies and crown corporations at the provincial and federal levels. She is well versed in business and advises on board governance, organizational challenges, succession planning and executive team composition.
