Working at a Computer

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted worker routines, accelerated technology adoption, and brought into sharp relief the impact of demographic trends and health and career inequities. In this talk our speaker adopts a personcentric perspective to argue for a management orientation that focuses on the development and sustainability of the human workforce.

Our Distinguished Speaker, Professor Ruth Kanfer, will describe selective advances in our understanding of adult motivation, emotion, and learning and their implications for building human capacity and greater organizational commitment in the post-pandemic, digitalized workworld.

This talk will be followed by a Q&A session.  Please note that this session's recording will not be distributed publicly after the event.

Live Captions: Please note that the presentation will take place in English, however French and English live captions will be available.
