Sharing of personal information
By registering or participating in these events, you consent that we may share your name, program of study, option and year with employers, workshop facilitators or third parties.
Photography and film during events
Photographs and film footage may be taken during Career Centre events, which may or may not include your recognizable image. By participating in these events, you consent to being photographed or filmed and authorize the University to use the photographs or film in print, digital, video or web-based format for its promotional and archival purposes. No Show Policy
Students who fail to cancel their registration with a 24 hours' notice and who do not show up for the event on three occasions will not be permitted to register for any further events until they speak to a Career Centre staff member to reactivate their Career Launch account.
Employer Policies
Cancellation and No Show Policy for Networking Events
An organization who wishes to cancel their registration for the event must do so in writing to
Organizations that have registered for a Telfer Career Centre Networking Event, but do not attend the event and do not cancel before the above stated deadline will be considered a no show and will be assessed a 50$ No Show Fee.
