Biographie
Le professeur Rengong (Alex) Zhang tire parti des mégadonnées pour étudier les enjeux de sécurité au travail, de main-d’œuvre et sur les marchés financiers. Il a signé des articles scientifiques dans le Journal of Finance and Quantitative Analysis, Organization Science, Journal of Operations Management, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting et European Accounting Review. Il a également reçu du financement du CRSH et du Comité de subventions universitaires de Hong Kong.
Le professeur a été évaluateur pour Production and Operations Management, le Journal of Management Accounting Research, et d’autres revues de comptabilité sur des questions de santé et sécurité au travail.
Avant de se joindre à l’École de gestion Telfer, le professeur Zhang travaillait à l’Université municipale de Hong Kong. Il a aussi été invité par de grandes institutions financières, comme S&P Global et AIA, pour parler de l’utilisation des données alternatives en finance et dans le cadre des stratégies d’investissement.
