Notice biographique

Peter Jaskiewicz mène une recherche quantitative et qualitative sur l'entrepreneuriat et l'entreprise familiale. Sa recherche actuelle met l'accent sur les antécédents d'entrepreneuriat transgénérationnel et la réputation d'entreprise dans les entreprises familiales et les entreprises fondées par le premier dirigeant. De plus, M. Jaskiewicz mène des recherches sur l'héritage organisationnel des patrimoines entrepreneuriaux, la répartition de la rémunération des gestionnaires et la dynamique familiale dans ces entreprises.

Les recherches de M. Jaskiewicz ont été publiées dans des revues telles que Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Family Business Review, Journal of Small Business Management et Journal of Business Research.

Dans son enseignement, M. Jaskiewicz partage des connaissances récentes sur l'entrepreneuriat, l'entreprise familiale et la gouvernance d'entreprise avec les étudiants des programmes de baccalauréat, de maîtrise et de doctorat. M. Jaskiewicz a également organisé un cours d'été annuel de la maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA) sur " le leadership en Europe " (2006-2008) et il a organisé un voyage d'été annuel sur " la gouvernance, l'entrepreneuriat et l'entreprise familiale " (2009-2013) en Europe.

Au-delà de la recherche et de l'enseignement, M. Jaskiewicz est parvenu à aider à collecter plus de 950 000 $ en tant que chercheur principal ou co-chercheur pour des propositions ou des subventions de recherche.

Il siège actuellement au comité d'examen des revues Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Corporate Governance: An International Review et Family Business Review. En plus de ces postes universitaires, M. Jaskiewicz est membre du comité consultatif de Venture for Canada.
