Notice biographie

Madame Dimoff a obtenu un doctorat en psychologie industrielle et organisationnelle de l’Université Saint Mary’s et un baccalauréat ès sciences de l’Université Queen’s. Elle s’est jointe à l’École Telfer en 2019, après avoir passé trois ans à la Portland State University où elle est encore professeure affiliée. Elle est aussi membre affiliée du corps professoral de l’Oregon Health & Science University. Dans ses recherches, elle s’intéresse principalement aux recoupements qui existent entre le leadership, la santé et la sécurité au travail ainsi que la formation et le perfectionnement des employés. En tant que plus jeune lauréate du Prix de reconnaissance des scientifiques-praticiens de la Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP), ses recherches traduisent son adhésion résolue au modèle du scientifique-praticien. Elle a travaillé avec des organisations locales, nationales et internationales pour élaborer, mettre en œuvre et évaluer des solutions fondées sur des données probantes en réponse à des problèmes réels en milieu de travail. Plus particulièrement, Dre. Dimoff a collaboré à la création de la Formation sur la sensibilisation à la santé mentale (SSSM), l’un des premiers programmes de formation en santé mentale évalués scientifiquement, qui s’adresse à des dirigeants en milieu de travail pour démontrer le rendement du capital investi. Outre qu’elle a signé de nombreuses publications et rédigé des chapitres dans des revues, elle a également corédigé l’ouvrage intitulé Leading to Occupational Health and Safety: How Leadership Behaviours Impact Organizational Safety and Well-Being.
