Biographie

Le professeur Racicot est titulaire d’un B.Sc. en sciences économiques (économie quantitative) et d’une M.Sc. en sciences économiques (économétrie) de l’Université de Montréal, où il a également complété sa scolarité de doctorat en économétrie. Il a ensuite poursuivi ses études doctorales en économie appliquée / finance à l’ESG UQAM où il a obtenu son Ph.D. Le Pr. Racicot enseigne la finance depuis plus de 15 ans. Il enseigne la finance quantitative/ingénierie financière et l’économie/économétrie appliquée dans les programmes de premier cycle (B.Com) et les programmes de cycles supérieurs (M.Sc. et Ph.D) de l’École de gestion Telfer. Il a dispensé des cours de finance quantitative/ingénierie financière et d'économétrie financière à l'ESG-UQAM pendant plusieurs années (1999-2005). Par la suite, il a été recruté par le Département des sciences administratives de l'Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO) où il a enseigné la finance et l’économie managériale de 2005 à 2012, ainsi qu'à titre de responsable du MBA en services financiers et du DESS en finance de 2007 à 2012. Il est également le promoteur/fondateur de la nouvelle M.Sc. en économie financière offerte à cette université.

Le Pr. Racicot a publié quatre manuels de niveau maîtrise (dans une presse universitaire subventionnée avec comité de lecture) en finance computationnelle/ingénierie financière et économétrie financière et un autre de niveau baccalauréat sur les titres à revenu fixe et produits dérivés. Ces livres sont utilisés dans les universités et sont prisés par les praticiens de la finance. En outre, il a été invité à enseigner la modélisation financière et l’analyse des options réelles dans plusieurs universités et est membre du Conseil de Exponentiel Education (Espagne), une école en ligne.
