Humans of Telfer – Benafshagul
“When I first started at Telfer, I was very introverted. I have come such a long way thanks to all the networking opportunities Telfer has to offer. I have attended many networking events and have had the opportunity to interact with professors, industry professionals and my peers. I joined the Telfer Accounting Club in my second year as a Director of Internal Affairs and got the opportunity of being Co-president. This opportunity has allowed me to develop my leadership skills and connect with many like-minded individuals. My word of advice to Telfer students is to get involved, as Telfer counts many clubs. You will make lifelong connections and have an unforgettable experience.”
– Benafshagul Ali, 3rd-year Accounting student (CO-OP; French immersion) and Co-president of the Telfer Accounting Club
Inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York, this weekly feature of the Telfer Career Blog will contain photography of individuals from the Telfer School of Management community and a corresponding narrative that gives us a glimpse into their lives.
