2021 Telfer Alumni Awards - Trudeau Medal Award - Macky Tall, MBA ‘92

Macky Tall is the Co-Chair of Carlyle Infrastructure Group, which includes efforts across transportation, renewables, energy, water & wastewater, and digital infrastructure. Before joining Carlyle, Macky served in a series of leadership positions at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), one of the world’s largest infrastructure investors and the second-largest pension fund in Canada. He also served on CDPQ’s Executive Committee and Investment-Risk Committee and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge. Macky is also a member of the Telfer School of Management Dean’s Strategic Leadership Cabinet.

The Trudeau Medal is the highest honor given by the Telfer School of Management to its graduates. Established in 1989, it was named for Roland Trudeau, former director of the Commerce department at uOttawa. This medal recognizes leadership, initiative, and contributions to the business world, the community, and the school.
