Biographie

Agnes Grudniewicz a reçu son doctorat de recherche sur les services de santé de l’Institute for Health Policy Management and Evaluation de l’Université de Toronto. Professeure agrégée, elle s’intéresse aux systèmes de santé et à la recherche sur les services de santé, et donne des cours sur la gestion des soins de santé et les systèmes de santé aux cycles supérieurs.

Domaines de recherche

Les recherches de la professeure Grudniewicz se concentrent sur les soins de santé primaires; elles visent à améliorer les systèmes de santé pour les personnes ayant des besoins médicaux et sociaux complexes. Ses travaux contribuent notamment à améliorer les soins primaires destinés aux adultes âgés, aux personnes souffrant d’une maladie mentale et aux personnes ayant de multiples maladies chroniques. En se servant de modèles de recherche qualitatifs, elle explore la prestation de soins primaires par des équipes et la collaboration entre les prestataires de soins. Elle est également membre du Centre de journalologie de l’Hôpital d’Ottawa, où elle étudie les répercussions des revues et des éditeurs prédateurs.
