Before joining academia\, he worked as a\nmanagement consultant (certified under the auspices of CMC-Canada)\, a\nvisiting professor at the Western Management Development Centre in\nDenver\, Colorado\, and Director of Market Development at Cognos\nIncorporated. Early in his career\, he worked as a public servant at\nTransport Canada and Consulting and Audit Canada and subsequently as a\nconsultant to several government departments.\n\nAt the University of Ottawa\, in addition to his administrative roles\,\nhe managed the school’s public sector performance management\nresearch cluster and the IBM Centre for Business Analytics. He has\nrecently launched the Government Analytics Research Institute with\ncolleagues from Carleton University\, the University of Quebec in\nOutaouais\, SAS and the Institute on Governance.\n\nHe has published research in the Journal of Public Administration and\nResearch\, Information & Management\, the International Journal of\nProductivity and Performance Management\, and the Journal of Computer\nInformation Systems. He has also published an edited book on Big Data\nand Analytics in Government and has delivered several conference\npresentations on the topic of performance measurement and management\nin the public sector.\n\nBETTY ANN M. TURPIN\n[https://ca.linkedin.com/in/dr-betty-ann-m-turpin-0366601a7]\, PH.D.\,\nC.E.\, PRESIDENT\, TURPIN CONSULTANTS INC. \n\nPresident of Turpin  Consultants  Inc.\, Betty Ann is a\nmanagement consultant\, practicing for over 25 years\, has also worked\nin the federal government\, in healthcare institutions\, and as a\nuniversity lecturer.\n\nHer career focus is performance measurement\, data analytics\,\nevaluation\, and research. She is a certified evaluator and coach.\n\nELIZABETH SEYMOUR\n[https://ca.linkedin.com/in/elizabeth-seymour-31a84b69]\, PRINCIPAL\,\nSEYMOUR SOLUTIONS \n\n Principal of Seymour Solutions\, Elizabeth has over 30 years\nexperience in communications.  She has worked in the federal\ngovernment\, in not for profit organizations and has experience as a\nfacilitator and trainer in change and leadership communications. \n Her career has spanned the spectrum of communications services and\nadvice including crisis and critical communications\, marketing and\npromotional advice.  In recent years Elizabeth has focused on\nproviding change and management communications advice to a number of\ngovernment and not for profit clients.
