It then focuses on two core\ncomponents of KMb: research coproduction and dissemination.\nParticipants will have the opportunity to reflect on these concepts\nand consider how—and whether—to integrate them more intentionally\ninto their own work.\n\nABOUT THE SPEAKER\n\nIAN D GRAHAM is Distinguished University Professor in the School of\nEpidemiology and at the University of Ottawa\, and Senior Scientist at\nthe Centre for Implementation Research in the Methods and\nImplementation Research Program of the Ottawa Hospital Research\nInstitute. Health sociologist by training\, Ian has extensive\nexperience as a health services researcher and implementation\nscientist. He is a pioneer in the fields of knowledge translation and\nimplementation science being the originator of such frameworks and\nmodels as the Knowledge to Action Model\, Ottawa Mo[Ian Graham]del of\nResearch Use\, and most recently\, Implementation Roadmap. From\n2006-2012 he was seconded to the Canadian Institutes of Health\nResearch as Vice President of Knowledge Translation and is currently a\nScholar-in-Residence at CIHR (2025-2026). He has been inducted as a\nFellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences\, New York Academy of\nMedicine and Royal Society of Canada. He has twice been awarded with a\nQueen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal (2002\, 2012) and the King Charles III\nCoronation Medal (2025) for contributions to research and knowledge\nmobilization and for his work contributing to improving patient\noutcomes and healthcare delivery.
