Karen Monsen, PhD

Health systems and services increasingly recognize the urgent need to identify and address the social determinants of health in order to optimize personal and population health outcomes. The challenge of translating research into practice can be successfully surmounted, given a comprehensive and holistic view of health, structured data, and robust analytics and pattern discovery. This presentation will provide research and practice examples before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
