Although you may have been in a coronavirus lockdown, netnography has not been. This presentation looks at the rapid evolution and accelerating deployment of this increasingly popular social science method, and includes (1) ways that researchers have been adapting to the new contingencies of the age of COVID-19, (2) new definitions of netnography, (3) three new growth areas within technocultural studies areas that are being informed by adaptive versions of netnography, and (4) a preview of "Netnography Unlimited" the upcoming edited netnography volume.

With over 30,000 Google Scholars citations, Robert Kozinets is one of the world's top researchers in marketing, public relations, strategic communication, and consumer research. He is the Jayne and Hans Huffschmid Chair of Strategic Public Relations and Business Communication at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and Marshall School of Business.
