Congratulations to Lisa McDonnell, EMBA 2014, on her new role as Director, Champlain Regional Stroke Network at The Ottawa Hospital.
“The Telfer Executive MBA environment presented me with a range of new experiences and perspectives enabling me to make positive contributions to my past and current workplace. This program provided me with tools, methodologies and analytical frameworks that I could translate directly into my own work to more effectively shape strategy. My ability to seek out trends and turn them into opportunities and refine how I look at the value proposition for each stakeholder was refined. The focus of this Telfer program on soft skills also allowed for greater self-awareness.”
Prior to her role at The Ottawa Hospital, Lisa was instrumental at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in her roles as Manager of Prevention and Wellness Centre & Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre, Research Manager of the Behaviour Research Department and Manager of Wellness Centre and Clinical Research.
Lisa has also been active in the Telfer Executive MBA Alumni Association serving one term in each of the roles of Vice-President as well as President.
We wish Lisa much success in her new role at The Ottawa Hospital.
