As Telfer's Research Knowledge Mobilization Officer, Lidiane is responsible for translating Telfer research projects and findings and sharing these new ideas with the general public. Focusing on community engagement, she connects researchers with the broader community to maximize the impact of university research on the public, private, and not-for profit sectors.
Lidiane has held several teaching, research, and administrative positions at six post-secondary institutions. She has a PhD. in Comparative Literature from the University of Alberta. She is passionate about writing (especially about the challenging research topics and findings) and strongly believes in the impact that research and derived insights can have on the community. She is a critical thinker, a feminist, an aspiring writer, and a mother of two wonderful and very energetic human beings.
