Thursday, February 6, 2020, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Telfer School of Management invites you to a conference about a hot topic "The Media as a change agent in Health Transformation" to be held at the Desmarais campus of the University of Ottawa.

George Langill, Executive-in-Residence and host of the event, will engage participants in exploring how the media is changing the way we interact with news and how this applies to health care.

He will be joined by guest speaker Graham Richardson, anchor at CTV, who will explore the theme of media as "great facilitators" in this field, but also how, in his words, "we're all broadcasters, we're all in the media".    https://ottawa.ctvnews.ca/about/bios/graham-richardson-1.815744

As health organizations develop their media and communication strategies, this presentation will help participants better understand this changing landscape and develop concrete approaches to manage it effectively.
