Presentation by Fiorella Jansen-Nicorescu, Board Chair of Alternative Learning Styles and Outlooks (ALSO)
The Board of Directors is responsible for providing oversight and strategic guidance. How can you equip your Board Members with the tools they need to fulfill their responsibilities? What steps can you take to create and maintain a productive environment?
Fiorella Jansen-Nicorescu is an Independent Non-profit Professional working with nonprofits in the areas of program evaluation, evidence-based program design and organizational performance. She has over 14 years of experience in the non-profit and for-profit sectors and approaches her work with the notion that when you have researched the “why” it is easier to map out the “how.” Having served as a Board Chair for the last four years, Fiorella will be sharing her perspectives and lessons learned on board recruitment and getting the most out of a Board of Directors.
